Alexis Reannon Wade, 22, of Bardin passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Satsuma due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Alexis was born in Jacksonville and had been a resident of Putnam County for the past eleven years, first living in Florahome and later in Bardin. She was a 2014 cum laude graduate of Interlachen High School where she played in the IHS band and QI Roberts Middle School band in Florahome. She had also participated in 4-H and FFA at QI Roberts Middle School. She was attending St. Johns River State College in Palatka studying Emergency Management and was employed at Bardin Grocery. She enjoyed taking her daughter to the park and to Disney World, fishing and riding the dirt roads. She had attended Oak Ave. Baptist Church in Florahome.
Preceding her in death were her father, Terry Michael Lewis; her paternal grandmother, Charlotte Lewis; and an uncle, Austin Holsomback.
Surviving are her husband, Kyle Wade of Bardin; a daughter, Josephine Wade of Bardin; her mother and step-father, Heather and Shalawn Thompson of Callahan; her maternal grandparents, Barry and Lisa Holsomback of Florahome; her maternal grandfather, James Dieas of Jacksonville; a sister, Alanna Thompson of Callahan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clay and Michelle Wade of Bardin; brother-in-law, Keaton Wade of Bardin; grandparents, Alphonso and Neet Thompson of Hilliard, FL; great grandparents, Hank and Katherine Dickinson of Jacksonville, Peggy Metts of Interlachen, Aloma Faye Lewis of Georgia, and Robert and Karen Hawkins of Bostwick; four aunts, Holly Holsomback of St. Augustine, Carrieann Hubbard of St. Petersburg, Melissa Cannon of Alabama, and Brandi Thompson of Hilliard; two uncles, Doug Cannon of Indiana and Bobby Dieas of Jacksonville; a most special cousin, Julia Parkerson of Gainesville; and many great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will begin receiving friends at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3rd at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. A celebration of Alexisí life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jerold Thomas officiating. In honor and celebration of Alexisí life a Video Tribute will be shown. Burial will follow in Peniel Cemetery.
